What is it
Wisdom teeth are the last molars at the back of the jaw. When they are impacted, painful, infected, decayed or pushing on neighbouring teeth, they can be removed.
Who is it for
Patients with pain, swelling, repeated gum infections, or wisdom teeth that cannot fully come through.
What to expect
A panoramic X-ray to plan the procedure, local anaesthesia, and removal by an oral surgeon, such as Dr. Abdullah Yağız. Some swelling and tenderness in the following days is normal.
Aftercare
Apply cold compresses, eat soft foods, avoid smoking and drinking through a straw, and rinse gently as advised. Contact the clinic if you notice severe pain, fever or heavy bleeding.
